Open Call for Artwork: ODU Community Psychological Services Center

Ends on

The new ODU Community Psychological Services Center (CPSC) has an open call for artists interested in gifting art for display in the center.

The CPSC is a new center pursuing the mission of providing state-of-the-art accessible mental health services to individuals, families, and groups to members of the Hampton Roads community. We are seeking artists who support this worthwhile cause through contributions of ready-to-hang wall art (paint, photo, print, mixed media) that would be consistent with our theme of healing, soothing, and tranquility. Artwork will be featured throughout the CPSC identified by title and artist; not only will clients from the community get to appreciate the contributions, the center’s Grand Opening in January will be open to major university donors and civic leaders as well as stakeholders in mental health services across Hampton Roads.

Submissions will be accepted for consideration from individuals over the age of 18 affiliated with ODU (e.g., student, staff, faculty) through Dec 2, 2026. Submissions will be reviewed and selected by the Director of the CPSC (Dr. Mary Brinkmeyer), Professor and Director of Clinical Training (Dr. Christina Rodriguez), and representatives of the ODU Art Department.

Shipping/delivery of artwork to the CPSC is the responsibility of the artist.

We use Submittable to accept and review our submissions.
